Peloton's Christmas commercial went viral for all the wrong reasons, with viewers calling the ad sexist and creepy. Aviation Gin decided to also cast the actress who appeared to be trapped in the Peloton ad in their own Christmas commercial, and the result is hilarious.
Sitting at a bar, the "Peloton wife" is silent, as her two friends awkwardly try to figure out what to say. Eventually, the main actress says, "This gin is really smooth," and one of her friends offers, "We can get you another one if you like."
The other friend supportively says, "You're safe here," in reference to the fact that the "Peloton wife" appeared to be being forced to constantly work out by her husband. Making a toast, the viral actress announces, "To new beginnings," and proceeds to down her drink.
As the commercial draws to a close, one of the friends can be heard saying, "You look great, by the way."
Basically, Aviation Gin just won Christmas, and Peloton is probably rethinking their own ad campaign right about now.
